Funky and masterfully crafted, "Harry's House" is an album that grows with you. The album showcases a wide variety of emotions paired with catchy tunes.
Regardless of if you are a long-time Harry fan or new to the game, this album has something for everybody. I always recommend listening to an album for the first time in order, but if you need somewhere to start try: "As It Was" - if you want to dance or "Keep Driving" - if you want to overthink your existence.
" Riot America. Science and edibles. Life hacks going viral in the bathroom. "

Harry's House mirrors a home - it's funky, vulnerable, and holds a wide range of emotions. The album feels like a peek inside Styles' brain with many tracks taking a stream of conscious feel like the listener follows Harry on his journey of self-healing.
The track "As It Was" is the first song that Harry fans heard when it was released as a single in March 2022. On the surface, this track is carefree and danceable. But with a deeper listen this song is raw and vulnerable. It explores the fear that comes with letting go in order to move on. The pairing of up-tempo songs with emotionally intense lyrics is repeated throughout the record.
In contrast "Matilda", the 7th track, is a stripped-down acoustic track that is for the oldest sibling that had to grow up too fast. The heart-wrenching track showcases another aspect of the thematic self-healing journey, by encouraging her to let go of what hurt her in the past. This song's intimacy hits home for anyone who didn't receive the love they deserved.
Part of growing up and healing is not only what you did, but what you didn't do. Styles mirrors the confusion that comes with adolescence in his stream-of-conscious style track, "Keep Driving". The cruise-able track creates the forward movement mindset that is crucial to the overall self-healing theme.
